Weddington, N.C. – Direct-to-consumer home textiles brand Delilah Home is adding to its extensive range of sustainable textiles.

The new  Drytek by Delilah towel is made from 100% Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certified recycled polyester, contributing to environmental sustainability by reclaiming 25-60 plastic bottles per towel from being sent to landfills.

Designed to be used on the beach or as sport or picnic towels, Drytek comes in three sizes: 24-inch by 36-inch, 36-inch by 70-inch and 72-inch by 72-inch. The line debuts in three colors made from low impact dyes: navy, purple, and teal. The towels also have an integrated strap that keeps the towel rolled up/compact and can snap onto a hanging hook.

Through the company’s Take Back program, customers can return their Drytek by Delilah towels after a year to be repaired, donated or recycled.

Drytek by Delilah launched on TV with Good Morning America, and rolled out online on June 20 with Macys, Amazon, Etsy, The Grommet and Delilahhome.com.

“Over two years in development, these towels not only perform exceptionally well in terms of being absorbent, quick drying, sand-resistant and antimicrobial – but also offer a luxurious, silky soft hand feel,” said Michael Twer, CEO/founder of Delilah Home.

The company’s proprietary process ensures comfort and quality as opposed to other recycled towels that can feel plasticky, he added.

Delilah Home’s portfolio of sustainable textiles also includes plush 100% organic cotton bath, kitchen and beach towels certified to the stringent Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). The company has garnered accolades such as Good Housekeeping’s 2021 Best Bedding and recognition from the Wall Street Journal for its 100% organic hemp bedsheets.
