Chicago – Crate & Barrel has partnered with cookbook author, private chef, entrepreneur, and food and lifestyle writer Gaby Dalkin on her first kitchen and entertaining collection.
Dalkin’s website, What’s Gaby Cooking, founded in 2009, has established her as the go-to girl for all things California.
The California coastal-inspired collection includes kitchenware, serveware, dinnerware, glassware, kitchen linens, and more.
Designed with kitchen favorites and West Coast sensibility in mind, the company said Dalkin’s handmade yet unfussy approach to cooking shines through with multipurpose appetizer boards to intuitive front-lip oak cutting boards. Recycled materials and neutral earth tones can be seen throughout the collection.
“Everything in this collection is what I needed in my kitchen but couldn’t find,” Dalkin said.
Crate & Barrel said Dalkin’s collection is made for “effortless entertaining with fresh ingredients, laid-back vibes and beautiful essentials.”
Dalkin said she spends a lot of time in her kitchen and wanted every prep tool and dish to double as a beautiful serving piece with its earth-inspired look. All of the glassware in the collection is made in Mexico from recycled glass.
The prices start at $5.95 for a Cocoa Rattan napkin ring and go up to $149.95 for a linen eyelet fringe natural tablecloth.
